Dan Berzansky founded Premier Aquatic Services in 2011. As a competitive swimmer, Dan taught swim lessons every summer throughout high school and college. In college, he swam on scholarship for Division I Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York. He was captain of the men’s college team his junior and senior year and is a five-time conference champion. After college, Dan was hired to open the aquatics program at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Orange County in Irvine. While there, he built a vibrant learn-to-swim program and started the OC Waves Club Swim Team, a USA Swimming sanctioned (USS) club program, which has produced scores of highly successful swimmers. In 2011, Dan graduated with his MBA from Pepperdine University and proceeded to leave the JCC.

In all, Dan has over 20 years of coaching and teaching experience, as well as over 14 years of experience in the recreation field with a focus on project management. In addition, he has over 17 years of experience as an instructor for the American Red Cross where he has taught classes ranging from CPR/AED classes, Professional Rescuer, instructor courses and lifeguarding and First Aid classes. In his free time, Dan is a Director for Stop Drowning Now, a drowning prevention education program which provides free drowning prevention education programs for children.

Dan currently lives in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife and three young children.

Ryan began swimming for Hillside Aquatics when he was 4 years old. After swimming for over 15 years, Ryan was offered an athletic scholarship to Concordia University Irvine. There he obtained his Bachelors in Communications and his MBA. While attending school in Irvine Ryan fell in love with coaching and teaching swim lessons again. This led Ryan to pursue a career with Premier Aquatics in 2011. Ryan has now been teaching and coaching for over 15 years.

In his free time, Ryan likes to hang out with his friends & family, go camping, and travel.

Sal Ulloa brings over a decade of swim instruction experience coupled with seven years in management and training roles in the swim school industry. Raised in Orange County, California, where swimming is a way of life, Sal’s aquatic journey began as a competitive swimmer at Seal Beach Swim Club at 11 years old. Later continuing this journey with high school swimming and water polo. Sal studied Business Administration at California State University Long Beach where he continued to play club water polo.

Currently he is the Regional Manager at Premier Swim Academy. In this role, Sal brings together his swim instructor and management experience along with modern learning and development principles to create a positive work environment that is conducive of delivering great customer service to all our program participants.

Wally works as the General Manager for Premier Swim Academy. He has previously worked at Indiana University and Seattle University in their aquatic recreation programs and has been teaching swim lessons since 2012. While finishing his M.S in Kinesiology at Indiana University, Wally was able to focus on Aquatic Recreation and Underwater Physiology and has a passion to stay involved in the field!
Originally from Indiana, Wally’s first job was as a lifeguard on Lake Michigan and his involvement in aquatic recreation only grew from there. He continued to be a competitive swimmer for 6 years, only to switch sports and begin playing ultimate frisbee. He is certified through the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor, the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance as a Certified Pool Operator, through PADI as a divemaster and through AIDA as a 1-star Freediver.
Wally loves working with Swim Instructors on “soft skills” and continued education. If you can’t find him at Premier Swim Academy he’s likely with his dog, Naga and there is probably a disc nearby for at least one of them.

Hello! My name is Melissa and I am the Administrative Director here at Premier Swim Academy in Rancho Cucamonga. Swimming and working with the community has been a huge part of my life from a young age. My very first job in high school was lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at my local pool in the city of Covina.  From there I went on to gain my degree in Teacher Education, where my love of working with children and their families continued to grow.

I started with Premier in April 2021 as a front desk admin and have had the wonderful opportunity to advance into my current role. During my time here I have enjoyed getting to know the families and students that come through our doors, as well as working with a great team! Being able to help families register for our programs, answer your questions, and take care of your scheduling needs has been a great experience so far.  When I’m not spending my day at Premier, I’m probably taking care of my 3 cats, 2 pups, turtle, and plants!

I’m Shayne, I’ve been with PSA since we opened in 2020. As a swim instructor I’m dedicated to finding new and entertaining ways to teach your kiddos how to appreciate the water as much as I do. I’m best known for my crazy high fives that make any other high five feel a bit lacking. As Facility Manager, i work to make sure the Students, Parents and Instructors are all on the same page about all aspects of their learning to swim journey.

Hi PSA families! My name is Brianne and I have been working at Premier Swim Academy for a little over a year now. In my free time I love to bake, listen to music, hang out with friends, and binge my favorite tv shows. I love interacting with our students and getting to know the families that attend lessons here at our Rancho Cucamonga location.

Hello my name is Xochitl and have been with PSA since June of 2021! I love working here seeing the progression in every individual that comes by each day. Being able to teach water safety skills as well as competitive swimming skills has been a very fulfilling experience for me especially after seeing the outcome. Hi friends! My name is Riley, I have been a swim instructor at Premier since July of 2022. Since I was 3 years old swimming has always been a huge part of my life, from surfing, to waterpolo, to swim teams. Besides teaching swimming I am currently in college pursuing a degree in nursing. If I’m not teaching I’m probably spending time with my family and friends or going out and trying new fun activities. Fun fact about me is I love trying new coffee shops whenever I can. The water has always been a place of happiness for me so I am so excited to share that with my students! Hope to see you soon!

Since I was little my dad taught me how to swim and later in high school I joined the swim team so I’ve always loved being in the water. Now here I am teaching kids, adults, and babies how to swim. Hi my name is James Barbour and I’ve been working the front desk here at PSA for almost a year now! In my free time I like training MMA, hanging out with friends, and hiking with my dog. My favorite part about my job is helping out families that are super excited to have their kids swim, setting up an account and getting them started with swim classes.

Hello, I am Dante! I became a competitive swimmer at age 11 and continued through highschool. I started teaching swim lessons at the age of 15 and will always pursue teaching in the water.

When I turned 17 I started my coaching swim career that now spans over multiple teams which started as a Jr. Coach under Mike Dickson of Hillside Aquatics who ignited my passion for coaching where I coached all levels from ages 5-18 and then I became the Assistant Senior coach and Age Group coach. After the pandemic I also coached for Victory Aquatics becoming the Junior Olympic coach for 2 years and then Yucaipa Swim team for another year. I am currently in college and enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy program at Mt.SAC. I joined PSA in 2023 and I can’t wait to see you by the pool deck!

Hello! My name is Chriselle Yutuc and I have been working as a PSA Admin for about 7 months. Currently I am attending California State University, Los Angeles as an Exercise Science Undergraduate. While at school, I am the Vice President of our Filipino-American Student Organization where I am in charge of organizing a variety of different events held on campus.

Premier Swim Academy has allowed me the opportunity to give families the best experience they can as they walk through our doors – welcoming everyone and seeing the happy familiar faces every time I come to work. When I’m not assisting our wonderful customers, you can find me diving into my studies in music production, exploring the endless possibilities of sound and rhythm.

But beyond the world of art and music, I find solace in nature. There’s something truly magical about connecting with the great outdoors—it’s where I feel most alive and in tune with my inner self. Whether it’s hiking through rugged trails or simply basking in the serenity of a quiet park, nature never fails to inspire me.

Hi PSA families! I’m Gabby the training manager here at PSA Rancho and I’m so happy to be apart of your swim experience. A bit of background on me, I’ve been teaching swim lessons for the past 12 years, I started when I was 15 in high school while apart of my swim team and that’s where my love for aquatics really was cultivated. I grew up around pools and while not formally learning to swim I always loved the water and learning with my parents from a young age. As I grew up and started playing sports I quickly realized the land was not for me and joined my high school swim and waterpolo teams where I had the most fun I’ve ever had in competitive sports. My desire to bring the joy and opportunities aquatics brought me to others is why I never stopped teaching lessons through college and career changes. Now being at Premier and apart of the training program is an awesome opportunity for me to pass my learned knowledge and experience on to new and existing instructors. A few fun facts about me, I love to cook new and fun recipes, crocheting is one of my favorite hobbies, and orange is my favorite color!

Hi, my name is Chloe! I have been a swim instructor with PSA since November 2023. I was on my high school swim and water polo teams, serving as water polo captain for three years, and later worked as a summer lifeguard. I love being a “Parent and Me” instructor, I believe I bring a passion for teaching and learning to every class! I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in Human Resources, emphasis on entrepreneurship and a minor in TESOL education (Teaching English as a Second Language). I love exploring new cultures and languages, traveling, and enjoying traditional teas and coffee. I speak English fluently and Spanish at an intermediate level. I also happen to be a big sister of five younger siblings! Yup, you heard right, I am the oldest of five and absolutely love being a big sister. At home, I have three adorable furbabies – a cocker spaniel and two Pomeranians. In my free time, I enjoy singing karaoke, reading, and watching anime and manga.

I use playful creativity combined with my background in child development, behavior science, and aquatics experience to teach classes that engage and challenge my learners (and their grown-ups!) For 17 years, I’ve worked with students on the autism spectrum. Every student is unique, and everyone can learn – no matter how they communicate, cope, act, or appear. When I’m not teaching, I love to camp, go to concerts, and relax.

Hello my name is Reanna, but you can call me RG! I have been working at PSA since summer of 2024. I love being in the water, my background comes from Junior Lifeguarding at Bonelli which lead me to a position of becoming a Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor for the City of Ontario. I enjoy teaching and giving back to others who also find interest in swimming! My favorite Hobbies outside of swim is Crosffit, Snowboarding, Camping and Fishing! When i grow up i want to be a Firefighter and help others in my community!
