What to expect in a Jr. Guard Prep Session?

JGP prepares swimmers to pass entry tests required for enrollment into local Jr Guard summer programs. Here they will focus on increasing swimmers’ endurance, efficiency in technical freestyle, water treading skills, and breath control. These students swim Monday through Thursday for two-week sessions at the same time each evening.

JGP sessions are billed as soon as enrollment occurs at a rate of $225 per session. Swimmers may require multiple two-week sessions to develop adequate endurance.

ELIGIBILITY: To join the JGP program you must either be currently active in Premier Swim Academy’s Learn to Swim Program and have graduated Level 4 OR swim 25 yards of freestyle. This is to assure swimmers are placed in the appropriate skill level to get the most out of the experience, as well as be safe in the group team setting.
