Eric is the Aquatics Director at at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center. He and his wife Jenny have four children. Eric loves the outdoors and is an avid sports fan.
He fits right in here because he’s a kid at heart and knows “You don’t stop playing because you get old. You get old because you stop playing.” Be sure to say hi if you see Eric around deck!
Hello Premier Families! Meet Tristan, the Programs Director at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center.
Tristan is the Programs Director for Premier Aquatics at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center. She is passionate about cultivating a safe, streamlined, and fun learning experience for swimmers, parents, and instructors alike.
Her journey into the aquatics world started with competitive swimming at age eight. This developed into a love for all things water from endurance open water swimming, to coaching, to competing in collegiate triathlons for UC Davis.
Since joining Premier in 2019, she has been a Swim Instructor, Lifeguard Manager, and Program Director. Tristan enjoys working with instructors to consistently build on their skills, and lean into Premier’s community-focused culture.
When she’s not working or poolside challenging every kid to their best high-five, you’ll likely find her hiking, cooking, or cycling- aka what she considers to be the best way to explore!”
Say hi to Tristan if you see her around!
Hi, my name is Trevor! I am the Assistant Aquatic Director for the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center. I started off as a Lifeguard for Premier Aquatics in the summer of 2020 and I’ve been managing lifeguards for about a year. I’m currently attending an EMT program and I wish to one day work in the EMS system to help serve my community. One of my favorite things about working for Premier Aquatics is being able to build strong relationships with the people I meet throughout the day and having fun with my team members.
If I’m not out on the pool deck, I’m probably with my girlfriend driving down PCH to go to the beach! I love body surfing and playing any sports with a ball.
Cant wait to see you out on the pool deck!
Hi, my name is Kaleb. I started working for Premier Aquatics in 2020 as a lifeguard. I have been a swimmer and water polo player almost my whole life. I used to be a flying fish myself back in 2012, so it is a unique experience getting to now run the team. I love the water and when I’m not here at the Aquatics Center, I am surfing. I’m excited to catch you on deck soon!
Hi, my name is Michael! I am a Deck Manager and Swim Instructor at Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center and Saddleback College. I am excited for the opportunity to share my passion for swimming with the students at premier aquatics and get to work with so many great people, on the deck and in the water!
I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to California in 2022. I grew up competitively diving, and my favorite event was the 10 meter platform! I went on to compete at the Division 1 collegiate level, diving for University of Missouri, and graduated with a bachelors degree in 2016. After graduating, I continued to coach club diving, and had the opportunity to coach Division 1 for Saint Louis University.
I am thrilled to combine the skills and techniques I have acquired at Premier to establish a secure, educational, and enjoyable atmosphere for your children to learn how to swim!
My name is Kayla Cunningham and I am a Deck Manager and Swim Instructor for Premier at the Aliso Viejo Aquatics Center!
I grew up loving the water. I started my swim journey with NOVAquatics for about a year, then I transitioned to playing water polo and swimming all 4 years in high school, and played for a couple seasons in college as well. I am currently at Saddleback College where I am working on my Associates for Kinesiology and plan on transferring to obtain my Bachelors and then hopefully my Masters. My goal is to provide physical and hydrotherapy to kids.
Working for Premier was a no-brainer! My brother worked here a few years back and when I saw how much he enjoyed it, I knew I’d love it too! Premier’s goal to ensure water safety as well as help families reach their swimming goals in a embracing community is so amazing, and I am truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful company. I love working with everyone and seeing the smiling faces from the families everyday! Such a wonderful community, like a family on its own!
Outside of the water and school, I like to spend time with my family, dogs, and friends. Some of my hobbies include line dancing, art, and a new-found love for snowboarding. I love all genres of music but my favorite has to be country (hence the line dancing).
I cannot wait to meet you all, hope to dance with y’all on deck!
Hi! My name is Noah. I’m a Deck Manager at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center and I’ve been with Premier Aquatics for six years now. I strive to ensure the satisfaction of my swim instructors, students, and their parents by working diligently to create a positive experience for all those who work with me.
When I’m not working, I can usually be found on a film set or at home building my career as a full time filmmaker. I have always been deeply committed to this pursuit, and I take comfort in knowing that I will have lived a life filled with purpose and meaning. If you happen to see me on deck, please don’t hesitate to come say hello. I’d love to meet you!
Hi! My name is Dorsa and I have been with Premier since August of 2022! I grew up in Southern California and I’ve always loved being in the water. My favorite thing to do is to go to the beach and spend time with the people I love. I can’t wait to meet you and share my love of swimming!
Hi! My name’s Kyle and I’m a swim instructor at AVAC. In or out of the pool, I love to swim, and other exercises including hikes and weightlifting. I am currently attending LCAD majoring in animation, so as you can imagine I love cartoons and talking about them. Being a picky eater, I’m also a big snack and food guy. My birthday is on October 4th just in case you were wondering. Fun fact about me is that I wanted to grow up to be a merman. See you at the pool this summer!
Hello! I’m Kyra and I’ve been a swim instructor since November of 2021. I love finding new ways to challenge my swimmers and turn it into an adventure! Can’t wait to meet you!
Hey, my name is Ryan! Alittle bit about me is that I’ve worked with kids as a martial arts instructor and I love making sure that I can do whatever I can to help them reach their goals. I love macaroni and cheese, my favorite flavor ice cream is chocolate with rainbow sprinkles and my favorite movie has to be Shrek. Im super excited and can’t wait meet all you out in the pool.
Hi everyone I’m Nashley, but feel free to call me Nash:) I am 17 years old and I have been working at Premier Aquatics for almost a year now. I’m always happy to help everyone with anything and just a phone call away. I always enjoy talking to all the kiddos and helping out families with any problems! Fun Fact: Even though I work for Premier now, I actually learned to swim here when I was younger! Working here has taught me so many things and has helped me grow so much as a person.
Outside of Premier, on my free time I love to go out with my friends and explore new places, taking photos and listen to music. I love going to concerts and going on new adventures. I am currently a senior in high school and I plan on majoring in criminal justice at CSU Fullerton or Saddleback College. Whether I am out on deck or at the front desk if you ever have any questions or want to talk about anything (especially harry styles!) please feel free to come up to me!
